Conditions of Entry
Any ceramic
artist living in the Caribbean Islands may enter up to three works fired
in clay.

1. Functional:
$25.00 for up to three pieces
2. Non-Functional:
$25.00 for up to three pieces
3. Kids Under 15:
First piece is free; second
and third pieces are $10.00 each

Timeline
January 16th, 2009 - entry fee,
form, pictures, and current bio/resume/ artists statement must be received
January 25th, 2009 - All work must
be received at the Gallery. No Exceptions.
January 30th, 2009 - Opening
Night 5pm - 8pm
January 30th to February 19th,
2009 - FireWorks Show
February 22nd, 2009 - Last day
to pick up unsold work
Information
-
This is not a juried
show, but the hanging committee reserves the right to exclude works
of an insufficient standard.

Work may not be in
polymer clay or PMC except as a decorative element on traditional
clay.

Unfired clay will not be
accepted

Mixed Media must include
60% ceramics and ceramic elements must be visible
-
Work must have been
produced in the last 3 years
-
Work must be entirely
hand-made and a product of the artists imagination without the use
of commercial molds or purchased bisque ware

Each piece must be tagged
with information on the printable labels.

Work must be for sale at
70% artist and 30% gallery breakdown
-
All works must be ready
to present with a suitable display or hanging support included if
necessary. Otherwise it will be displayed at the hanging committees
discretion.

Outdoor Sculpture and
Installations must be pre-approved by the committee.

Entry fee, form, pictures,
and current bio/resume/ artists statement must be received by
January 16th, 2009. Arrival of
entry will be acknowledged only by email.

By entering. artists
consent the use of photos for publication and website.

Each artist is
responsible for work arriving safely to the gallery by Monday,
January 25th, 2009. Work received after January 26th or damaged will
be displayed at the hanging committees discretion.

The show will run
January 30th - February 19th and pieces will not be removed
(even if sold) until the end of the show.

Unsold work must be
retrieved by the artist or arrangements made with the Gallery by
February 22nd, 2009, after which they will become property of the
Gallery.

Any awards checks must be
cashed within 6 months of the date on the check or it will be
considered donated back to the FireWorks Fund.
